What this policy covers
This policy explains what information Solid Rockwall Concrete and Masonry collects through this website, how we use it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it. We're a masonry contractor in Rockwall, TX, and this site exists so homeowners can learn about our work and ask us for an estimate.
It applies to every page on this site, from the home page to our service and city pages. It doesn't cover other websites you reach through a link here, because those sites have their own policies. You can read more about us on our About page.
Information you give us
When you fill out our contact form, call us or email us, you give us what we need to answer you. That's usually your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property and a description of the work, and sometimes photos you choose to send.
Our contact form is run by an outside form service, so what you type into it is collected and stored by that service and then passed to us. We only ask for what we need to reply to you and set up an estimate, and you don't have to share anything you're not comfortable sharing.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this site can collect basic technical details when you visit. That can include your browser type, device type, general location based on your internet connection, the pages you view, how long you stay and the site that sent you here.
We may use analytics tools and cookies to gather this. Cookies are small files your browser stores so a site can remember a visit or count how pages are used. We use this information in summary form to see which pages help people and which need work, not to build a profile of you.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work for reading and for reaching us, though some features may not remember your choices.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to reply to your request, schedule and give your estimate, do the work if you hire us, send invoices and follow up on the job. We also use it to keep records of the work we've done at a property, which helps if you call us back later about the same wall, chimney or driveway.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't rent it or trade it to other businesses for their marketing. We only share it with service providers who help us run the business, such as the form service, email and phone providers, website hosting and accounting tools, and only so they can do that work for us. We may also share information when the law requires it or to protect our rights in a dispute.
How long we keep it
We keep contact and job information for as long as we need it to serve you, answer questions about past work and keep the business and tax records the law asks us to keep. If you reached out but never hired us, we keep your request only as long as it's useful for following up, then delete it.
Website analytics are kept in summary form and are deleted or overwritten on the schedule the analytics tool uses.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you ask us to delete it, we will, except for records we have to keep for taxes, warranties or other legal reasons, and we'll tell you if that applies.
If you no longer want to hear from us, tell us and we'll stop contacting you, other than about a job that's already underway. Depending on your state, you may have other rights under state privacy law, and we'll honor them when they apply.
How we protect your information
We limit who on our team can see your information to the people who need it to do the job, and we use service providers that protect the data they hold for us. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please don't send bank or card numbers through the contact form or by email.
Children's privacy
This site is meant for adults who own or manage property. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn that we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our tools or the law change. When we do, the new version will be posted on this page, and it applies from the time it's posted.
How to raise a privacy question or concern
If you have a question about your information, want to see or change it, or want it deleted, call us at (972) 961-1232 or reach us through our Contact page. Tell us what you're asking for and how to reach you, and we'll verify it's you before we make any changes.
We reply within 1 business day, and we'll let you know if a request will take longer to finish.
